Signs From God

Signs from God

So here is some exciting news: I have begun writing a book! I am thrilled to be creating a collection of my experiences where I have received signs from God. God’s literal signs to me have transformed my life, my faith and my sense of peace.

There came a point in my own life many years ago, where I became dissatisfied with the way I was seeing life. God’s perspective was what I wanted.

I longed for transformation so that I could navigate through difficult, even heartbreaking life situations and see what God was doing in the middle of it all – so that I would not lose hope.

I was thirsty for recognizable, tangible signs of God’s involvement in my life. Maybe you can relate?

I believe that God actually drops us many signs to reinforce that He is trustworthy and faithful.

It is His delight to plant these signs as gifts along our path, to help us find our way. These signs from God build faith, and provide clarity for our spiritual eyes. Peace flows more easily through this space where our trust remains steadfast on who God is and what He has said.

So, you may be thinking: why all the fuss about signs? Well, here’s the thing: signs from God are tangible, tactile faith builders. They confirm that what He has promised, He intends to follow through on.

God will give us something we can see with our natural eyes, with a very strong and visible correlation to what our faith is already connected to. God and His word.

He’s connecting the dots between our natural eyes and faith eyes – with a sign that reinforces His plan for us. Here is where growth and transformation emerge in real life situations and where we see the signs.

Seasons where I have slogged through difficulty, my need has motivated me to lean in deeper. To watch and listen for the clues. The tangible signs of God’s perspectives and victories.

In easier seasons, I have had an overwhelming curiosity. To lean in to see and hear what God is up to. I am excited to share with you personal accounts of the many ways that God has supernaturally interrupted my life.

Signs from God.

Are signs necessary?

You might not actually feel that signs from God are necessary in day to day life. What even is a sign? Actually?

When we pray The Lord’s Prayer we repeat and interesting line. ‘Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. As we say those words, we are actually inviting God to bring His heavenly reality into our natural earthly realm. Heaven’s realities made visible on earth.

In essence we are giving God an open invitation to bring His perspectives, activities and supernatural power into our life. And that is a GOOD thing!

We need the resources and wisdom of heaven and God’s heart within our grasp and resonating in our hearts. This is literally what a sign from God does.

These signs that He drops into our lives are indicators of what God is doing in our heart and lives and in our earth!

Considering the state of our world these days, it bolsters our hope and faith to know that God is tirelessly working to renew and redeem what is failing. Not only on a global scale, but also the most intimate scale – our hearts.

Signs from God that point us to Hope and Redemption in daily life. Jesus sealed this redemption once and for all on the cross. We are still seeing the effect of His redemption at work around us.

I am excited to share this journey of writing about the signs that God has placed in my life. Maybe you too are on a search for God at work in your life. It could be that this idea challenges you.

I pray that you will encounter the loving heart of God, and that He will enlighten the eyes of your heart to see His kingdom coming into your life every day! Ephesians 1:15-23.

Join me weekly in my blog as I share thoughts and snippets from the book that I am writing!
